Randolph Named D2Football Player of the Year
2011 D2Football.com All-America Team
LIBERTY, Mo. - Mars Hill running back Jonas Randolph and Pittsburg State linebacker Nate Dreiling headline the 100 players named to the 2011 D2Football.com All-America Team.
A total of 60 institutions had players selected to the team. Five schools (California, Minnesota Duluth, Northwest Missouri, National Champion Pittsburg State, Washburn, and National Runner-Up Wayne State) had four players named to the team. California led the way with three first-team selections.
Randolph, the 2011 Harlon Hill winner, was chosen as the Offensive Player of the Year. Dreiling, the star of Pittsburg State's championship team, was named the Defensive Player of the Year. Tim Beck was named Coach of the Year after leading Pittsburg State to the National Championship.
The D2Football.com All-America Team was selected by our staff with input from coaches and sports information directors from around the country. D2Football.com has named an All-America Team since its inception in 2000.
