Randolph, Harris named BSN National PoW
MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill tailback Jonas Randolph and defensive end Troy Harris have been named the Beyond Sports Network (BSN) Division II National Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for week four. This is a national award that only identifies six offensive and defensive players in the country at the Division II level.
Randolph rushed 36 times for 202 yards and two touchdowns in last Saturday's 38-28 win over North Greenville. For his efforts, Randolph was named the South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week. The Daleville, Ala., native has rushed for 4,117 yards in his career which ranks fifth in league history.
Against the Crusaders, Harris posted 10 tackles, nine of which were solo stops. He also had three sacks, three tackles-for-loss and two quarterback hurries.
BSN is a sports media site that features colleges and players from the FCS, DII, DIII, and NAIA levels.
