Harbison Among BSN Athletes of the Week
Mars Hill redshirt sophomore Jamel Harbison has been named a BSN Division II Football Athlete of the Week, announced Monday evening by the Beyond Sports Network.
LEESBURG, Va. - Mars Hill redshirt sophomore Jamel Harbison has been named a BSN Division II Football Athlete of the Week, announced Monday evening by the Beyond Sports Network. BSN Athletes of the Week were chosen based on top statistical performances and performances against top Division 2 Football Teams.
Harbison ranked sixth among the BSN's Top 15 Performances last week after running for 290 yards and three touchdowns on 41 carries in a 37-31 victory over Brevard. He also caught two passes for 13 yards. Harbison had the best performance by a Mars Hill running back since Jonas Randolph's 373-yard afternoon against Tusculum on October 29, 2011. Harbison ranks third in the South Atlantic Conference with an average of 121.4 yards per game and was named the AstroTurf SAC Offensive Player of the Week yesterday.
Mars Hill travels to North Greenville on Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff.
