Keshaun Taylor named to D2CCA All-Super Region 2 First Team

PEMBROKE, N.C. - Mars Hill senior wide receiver Keshaun Taylor was named to the D2CCA All-Super Region 2 team Friday afternoon. The First Team honor is the first of his career.
Taylor, a native of Homestead, Florida, led the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) this past season in several receiving categories. He hauled down 64 receptions for 1,281 yards and 12 touchdowns in 10 games. Taylor also finished atop the league with 1,522 all-purpose yards. He had one passing and rushing touchdown apiece as well.
His 1,281 receiving yards was good for fourth in all of DII while his 128.1 yards per game placed him third in the nation.
In the senior's final home game of his career, he tied his school record with four touchdown receptions against UNC Pembroke in a 56-44 victory. Taylor played in 39 games for the Lions over his four-year career, finishing with 217 receptions for 3,681 yards and 29 touchdowns. He averaged 17 yards per catch.
Taylor will advance to the national ballot for All-American honors.
