Sell earns Academic All-District honors
Mars Hill offensive lineman Jake Sell was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Football Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Thursday afternoon.
MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill offensive lineman Jake Sell was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Football Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Thursday afternoon.
Sell, a senior from Greeneville, Tennessee, averaged out at 87 percent all year and had 20 knockdown/pancake blocks through eight games. Sell was a leader on the offensive line, making the calls while on the field for the team. He finishes his career appearing in 33 games over four years.
Sell was one of 17 South Atlantic Conference football players to be named to the Region 2 All-District team. He currently maintains a 3.54 GPA and is majoring in physical education.
