Lions Place 11th in Rock Barn Intercollegiate
CONOVER, N.C.-- Mars Hill's men's golf team placed 11th in the Rock Barn Intercollegiate, which concluded Tuesday at Rock Barn Golf and Spa.
CONOVER, N.C.-- Mars Hill's men's golf team placed 11th in the Rock Barn Intercollegiate, which concluded Tuesday at Rock Barn Golf and Spa.
The Lions improved their round two score by eight points to finish with 315. Mars Hill totaled an overall score of 638 in the two-day event. Freshman Adam Lumley fired a one-over 73 in round two to finish in a tie for 20th overall. Queens University won the tournament with a score of 591. Sam Goodnight of North Greenville carded a two-over 146 to earn individual champion honors.

Cole Swezey finished with a 79 in each round of the competition. Charles Hartzog improved his round two score by three strokes to finish third among Lion golfers. Juan Santos and Chase Dembisky rounded out Mars Hill's point-earners.
The Rock Barn Intercollegiate concludes Mars Hill's fall season.
