Lions Finish 10th at Hargett Intercollegiate
PINEHURST, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's golf team finished in 10th place at the 14th Annual J. Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate tournament held at National Golf Club.
Adam Lumley led the Lions with a two-day 158 in a tie for 20th place. Chase Dembisky finished in a tie for 29th with a 159. Nick Caruso had the low score of the day for Mars Hill, finishing with a 3-over-par 75.
Queens University won the tournament with a 603, nine shots ahead of second place Lincoln Memorial. Wingate's Benedict Gebhardt won the tournament with a combined score of 146, one shot ahead of Queens' Alex Weare, Lincoln Memorial's Rand Wasson and Tusculum's Dakota Norton .
Mars Hill will play in its final regular season tournament on April 5-6, competing in the Roanoke Invitational.
