GREENEVILLE, TENN. - Junior Charles Hartzog finished in a tie for third place at the Tusculum Fall Classic held at Link Hills Golf Club. The Lion men finished in a tie for third place.
Hartzog shot a four-under-par 67 to lead the Lions on the second day of the tournament. The Gaffney, S.C. native finished the tournament with a four-under-par 138 and was named to the All-Tournament team. Antonio Douat completed the second round with a two-under-par 69 and finished in a tie for ninth place with a one-under-par 141. Nick Caruso finished tied for 17th with a 144, followed by Nick Quesnel in a tie for 32nd with a 149. Dalton Thompson and Ken Dixon competed as individuals; Thompson shot a 157 with Dixon signing a 159 on his scorecard.
Tusculum's Brad Hawkins defeated Lincoln Memorial's Kurtis Campbell in a playoff. Lincoln Memorial was the team winner by four shots over the host Pioneers.
Mars Hill returns to action next Monday and Tuesday at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.
