Hartzog, Lions Win Echo Farms Intercollegiate

WILMINGTON, N.C.- Chevy Hartzog shot a five-under-par 139 to claim the individual title at the Echo Farms Intercollegiate. Mars Hill also won the team portion of the event.
Hartzog lowered his score by one stroke Sunday, shooting a three-under-par 69. Sophomore Adam Lumley also finished with a three-under-par 69 in the second round while tying for second place with Antonio Douat. Douat shot a one-under-par 71 in today's action.
In the team standings, Mars Hill finished in first place with a team score of 593. The Mars Hill "B" team finished in second with a team score of 625. North Carolina Wesleyan, Cape Fear Community College, St. Anslem and Bluefield State College were the other participants in this year's tournament.
Mars Hill returns to action on Saturday at the Tusculum Invitational.
