Men's Golf Finishes in Fifth at Tusculum Invitational
Chevy Hartzog shot a three-under-par 68 to lead the Mars Hill men’s golf team in the final round of the Tusculum Invitational
GREENEVILLE, TENN.- Chevy Hartzog shot a three-under-par 68 to lead the Mars Hill men's golf team in the final round of the Tusculum Invitational at Link Hills Country Club. As a team, Mars Hill finished in fifth place.
Hartzog concluded the tournament with a one-over-par 143 to put him in a tie for sixth place. Filip Andersson had the second-lowest score for the Lions on Sunday, finishing with a 69 and in a tie for 18th with a 147. Luke Grogan shot a one-over-par 72, followed by Adam Lumley with a 73. Lumley finished in a tie forth 12th.
The Mars Hill "B" team finished in 12th place. Dalton Thompson shot a two-over-par 73 to lead the squad on the second day of competition.
Mars Hill returns to competition at the Ralph Hargett Memorial on March 16.
