Lumley Leads Mars Hill at Etowah Spring Challenge
Adam Lumley finished with a three-over-par 75 at the Etowah Spring Challenge
ETOWAH, N.C.- Adam Lumley finished with a three-over-par 75 at the Etowah Spring Challenge held at the par-72, 6,892-yard Etowah Valley Country Club on Saturday.
Lumley finished in a tie for fifth place. Levi Grogan shot a 79 to finish in a tie for 17th, followed by Filip Andersson with an 80 and a tie for 20th. Chevy Hartzog and Antonio Douat each finished with an 83.
Playing as individuals, Dalton Thompson finished with a 78, followed by Nick Caruso (79), Luke Grogan (80) and Ken Dixon (85).
Mars Hill finished with a team score of 317, one shot behind third place Catawba. Tusculum won the event with a 296.
The Etowah Spring Challenge was the final regular season event for Mars Hill. The Lions return to the course for the South Atlantic Conference Championship beginning on Sunday, April 19.
