Lumley Earns All-Conferene Nod
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Junior Adam Lumley has been named to the South Atlantic Conference All-Conference Team following an impressive 2015-16 season as announced by the league today.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Junior Adam Lumley has been named to the South Atlantic Conference All-Conference Team following an impressive 2015-16 season as announced by the league today. Lumley finds himself on the second team.
On the year Lumley has compiled 16.5 rounds of golf while shooting an average score of 73.39 (+2). His best performance of the year came at the Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate on March 13-14, where he finished in a tie for seventh place overall after firing a three-day total of 212 (-4).
Lumley captured the individual crown at the Anderson University Invitational on September 14-15, posting a three-over par, 147 during the two-day event. He also led the Lions to a second place finish, the best of the season, at the Bash at the Beach Intercollegiate on March 5-6, finishing in second out of 63 golfers with rounds of 75 (+3) and 72 (E).
Lumley and the rest of the Mars Hill golf team will now turn their attention to the South Atlantic Conference Men's Championships set to be played April 17-19 at the Etowah Valley Country Club in Etowah, N.C.
