Butler and Lumley Earn All-Tournament; Men Finish Third at Brevard College Fall Invitational
HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – The Mars Hill men’s golf team completed the Etowah Intercollegiate with a third place finish on Tuesday, September 20.
HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – The Mars Hill men's golf team completed the Etowah Intercollegiate with a third place finish on Tuesday, September 20. Senior Adam Lumley earned his second-straight All-Tournament nod with his second-place finish, while Harry Butler moved up one spot from the day one results to earn himself a spot on the All-Tournament team.
Lumley followed up a brilliant day one with a +2, 74 during the final 18, finishing just two strokes behind Tusculum's Taylor Smith. Butler fired a +1, 73 to earn his place in the top-five of the leaderboard. Teammate Dalton Thompson finished his 36 rounds with a solid 12th place finish.
Francesc Llinas and Callum Ritchie finished in 35th and 40th places, respectively for the Lions.
Mars Hill will return to action on Monday, September 26-27 as they head to Greenville, Tenn. to take part in the Tusculum College Fall Invitational.
