Lions finish fourth at MHU Fall Invitational
The Mars Hill men's golf team placed fourth at the conclusion of the Mars Hill University Fall Invitational Tuesday afternoon.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's golf team placed fourth at the conclusion of the Mars Hill University Fall Invitational Tuesday afternoon.
Nicholas Boone recorded a top-five finish by shooting two-under over the two days. Callum Ritchie matched his first round score to shoot four-over and place 19th along with teammate Will Byrd. Byrd shot one-under on the day, shaving six strokes off of his first round total.
Rounding out the Lions team was Luke Challis in 31st place while Hayden Estes finished 36th.
Belmont Abbey's B-Team came away with the victory over Tusculum in a two-hole playoff round.
