Lions Ranked Ninth in Nation
MARS HILL, N.C.-- The Mars Hill lacrosse team is ranked ninth in the nation in the latest USILA Division II Coaches Poll.
This is the first time the Lions have been ranked in the top ten this season, and the third straight week Mars Hill has been ranked in the poll. The Lions are now 8-0 on the season and defeated Queens and Belmont Abbey last week.
The Lions earned 36 points in the poll. Six points seperate the Lions from eighth-ranked Seton Hill (42).
Mars Hill will be in action again on Wednesday, March 14 when they travel to St. Leo, Florida to take on the Lions. First faceoff is set for 2 p.m.
