Lacrosse Climbs to 10th in Nation
MARS HILL, N.C.-- The Mars Hill lacrosse team has climbed two spots in the USILA Division II Coaches Poll, coming in at 10th in this week's rankings which were released Monday.
Mars Hill was previously ranked 12th in last week's poll. The Lions defeated Catawba, 16-10, in Deep South Conference action Saturday night. Mars Hill earned 19 points in the poll, placing them 11 votes behind ninth-ranked Seton Hill. The highest the Lions have been ranked this season in ninth.
Mars Hill will next be in action on Saturday, Mar. 31 when they host Wingate in Meares Stadium at 7 p.m.
