Mars Hill finishes seventh at BMC Championships
The Mars Hill men's swim team concluded the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships on Saturday, placing seventh with 179.50 points.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's swim team concluded the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships on Saturday, placing seventh with 179.50 points.
In the B-Final of the 200 yard backstroke, Harrison Butler placed sixth with a time of 1:54.40. Brendon Cyprianos placed eighth with a time of 1:57.58.
Vitor Goncalves and Erwin Ortiz placed sixth and eighth, respectively, in the 100 yard freestyle B-Final with times of 47.07 and 47.09.
Elijah Sears placed third in the B-Final of the 200 yard breaststroke, turning in a time of 2:06.41. Michael Piumelli placed fifth with a time of 2:09.16 and Alex Bouhlel finished seventh, recording a time of 2:14.65.
The team of Ortiz, Sears, Butler and Goncalves placed sixth in the 400 yard freestyle race with a time of 3:07.86.
