Lions finish 10th at Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy
The Mars Hill men's swim team concluded the 2019 Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy in 10th place following Sunday's events.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's swim team concluded the 2019 Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy in 10th place following Sunday's events.
Matthew Kowalczyk placed 29th overall in the 1650 yard freestyle, recording a time of 18:17.63. Brendon Cyprianos placed 13th overall in the 200 yard backstroke, turning in a time of 1:51.75.
In the C Final of the 200 yard backstroke, Matthew Goslin took first, turning in a time of 2:07.36. Alex Boulel finished 29th overall with a time of 2:12.96.
Bruno Ferrari and Gavriel Hason turned in 19th and 21st overall performances in the 200 yard butterfly, recording times of 1:54.83 and 1:55.40, respectively.
The team of Bouhlel, Cyprianos, Ferrari, and Erwin Ortiz placed 13th in the 400 yard freestyle, turning in a time of 3:10.72, over 10 seconds faster than their qualifying time. Hason, Kowalczyk, Dalton Davidson, and Ryan Adams placed 23rd overall.
The Lions finished with 517 points over the three-day event.
