Lions draw with Buffaloes at Milligan Invite

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's swim team tied with Milligan this Saturday, 130-130, at the Milligan Invite.

The team of Brendon Cyprianos, Matthew Goslin, Gavriel Hason, and Erwin Ortiz claimed victory in the 200 Meter Medley Relay with a time of 1:52.77.  

Ortiz was victorious in the 100 and 200 meter freestyles, turning in times of 55.27 and 2:01.80, respectively. Ortiz won the 400 meter freestyle in 4:25.13, over eight seconds better than second place.

Hason took home the 50 meter butterfly, posting a time of 27.35.  He also won the 100 meter butterfly with a time of 1:01.60.

In the 50 meter breaststroke, Alex Bouhlel turned in a time of 32.39 for first place.  Bruno Ferrari claimed the 200 meter IM with a time of 2:13.25.

The Lions return to the pool on Thursday, February 13 when they open up the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina.
