Simm named All-SAC second team
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Lucas Simm was voted to the 2011 South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis All-Conference second team, the league office announced today.
Simm was 7-8 in overall singles' matches and 5-4 in league
play.
Lincoln Memorial's Philipp Hoffmann was named Player of the Year. Brevard's Sam MacNeil was named Freshman of the Year.
Wingate University head coach Michael Cabana was named Coach of the Year. Wingate's Braeden Patchell was the recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award for men's tennis.
The awards will be presented on Thursday after the men's semifinal matches at the 2011 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Tennis Tournament at the Rock Hill Tennis Center in Rock Hill, S.C.
