Lincoln Memorial swept all three doubles matches en route to a 6-3 victory over Mars Hill
HARROGATE, TENN.- The Lincoln Memorial men's tennis team swept all three doubles matches en route to a 6-3 victory over Mars Hill in South Atlantic Conference action on Wednesday. Mars Hill drops to 7-6 overall and 3-5 in league play while the Railsplitters improve to 6-4 and 5-2.
After LMU won the doubles matches 9-7, 8-2 and 8-3, Euquerio Guerrero claimed the match at number one singles with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Joshua Coulthard. The Railsplitters claimed the third, fourth and sixth singles courts to claim the match. Alberto Ortiz was an 8-6 winner over Will Sparks at the second singles flight, with Sam Lee recording an 8-2 victory over Guilherme Rocha at court five.
Mars Hill returns to Hart Tennis Center on Wednesday, April 8 for a match against Catawba. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
