Mars Hill wins third straight, takes down Montreat
The Mars Hill men's tennis team (3-1) defeated Montreat (0-1), 6-1, at the Hart Tennis Complex Tuesday afternoon to win their third straight match.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's tennis team (3-1) defeated Montreat (0-1), 6-1, at the Hart Tennis Complex Tuesday afternoon to win their third straight match.
The Lions won all three doubles matches to earn the single point to go up 1-0 early in the match. Straight set singles wins by Ben Reid, Rodrigo Ramos, Fernando Neto and Kyrel Trim and a three set victory by Pedro Pinassi allowed the Lions to go up 6-0 before Montreat took the last singles match to disrupt the Mars Hill shutout.
Mars Hill travels to King on Friday, October 5th to take on the Tornado. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
