Track results from Johnson C. Smith Invite
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Mars Hill participated in the Johnson C. Smith University Invitational on Saturday.
On the women's side, Rachael Rogers finished 19th in the 1,500 Meter Run. Her time was 5:31.45.
Hannah Moore was seventh in the 3,000 Meter Steeplechase in 14:08.22.
On the men's side, Travis Riner set a new school record in the Discus Throw, placing fifth with a distance of 42.92 meters. He also placed seventh in the Shot Put with a toss of 12.33 meters. Frankie Waters finished third in the 110 High Hurdles. He ran in a time of 14.29 seconds. How now qualifies for nationals and is ranked second in the nation in the event. Josh Greenfield-Tuttle was sixth in the 3,000 Meter Steeplechase. His time in the event was 10:49.72.
