Hilton Garden Invitational Day One Results
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Mars Hill men's track and field team enjoyed success in the first day of the Hilton Garden Invitational, held Friday at the JDL Fast Track on the campus of Wake Forest.
The event in which the Lions enjoyed the most success was the 5000 Meter Run. Alex Griggs placed 14th overall and third among Division II runners with a time of 15:40.01. Brady Adcock ran a 15:58.62 time to place 20th overall and fifth among Division II runners. Cesar Reyes rounded out Mars Hill's top performers in the event, finishing in 16:12.71, good enough for 25th overall.

Isaac Phyall turned in the second-best performance among Division II competitors in the Triple Jump. Phyall's jump of 43-4.25 was good enough for 19th overall.
The Hilton Garden Invitational includes performers from all NCAA Division I and II as well as NAIA competitors. Performers included representatives from schools in the ACC, Southern Conference and Atlantic Sun.
