Phyall Finishes Heptathlon in Fifth Place
Mars Hill junior Isaac Phyall finished in fifth place in the heptathlon at the CNU Pentathlon/Heptathlon, held on the campus of Christopher Newport University.
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Mars Hill junior Isaac Phyall finished in fifth place in the heptathlon at the CNU Pentathlon/Heptathlon, held on the campus of Christopher Newport University.
Phyall accumulated 3986 points, 14 points away from the school record in only his second attempt in the event. Phyall finished with a new personal best in the 1000 meters with a time of 2:58.08.
Dawn Radford set a school record on Tuesday in the pentathlon with 2390 points.
The CNU pentathlon/heptathlon was the final event of the 2013-14 indoor season. Mars Hill begins the outdoor season on Saturday, March 22 at the PowerSox Invitational at Lenoir-Rhyne.
