Sprinters Set Personal Bests on Opening Day of Winthrop Invitational
Three student-athletes set personal bests.
ROCK HILL, S.C.- The first day of the Winthrop Invitational belonged to the sprinters for the Mars Hill men's track team, as three student-athletes finished with four new personal bests.
Jay Myers recorded a new personal best in the 200 meter dash (21.98), along with Malachi Young (22.844) and Marlon Allen (22.850). Myers finished in 10th place in the 200 and was the third-highest finishing NCAA Division II runner. Allen set a new personal best in the 400 meter dash (51.58).
The Winthrop Invitational continues tomorrow.
