Myers, Foster Have Strong Performances at Duke Twilight Meet
Jay Myers and Marcus Foster recorded several personal bests and a new school record at the Duke Twilight on Wednesday
DURHAM, N.C.- A pair of Mars Hill student-athletes finished with new personal bests on the first day of the Duke Twilight meet.
Jay Myers set a new school record in the 100 meter dash, finishing in 10.593 seconds. Myers has reached an NCAA provisional qualifying time. Marcus Foster finished with a new personal best time of 14.89 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles along with a new personal best 10.93 seconds in the 100 meter dash. He would record a time of 52.70 in the 400 meter hurdles. Foster's effort in the 400 meter hurdles is the 19th fastest time among NCAA Division II student-athletes this year.
