Foster, Myers Earn All-Region Honors
Marcus Foster and Jay Myers were named to the USTFCCCA All-Region team
NEW ORLEANS, La. - Marcus Foster and Jay Myers have earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors.
Foster is an All-Region selection in the 400 meter Hurdles and set a new school record last week at the Duke Twilight Invitational with a time of 52.70, which is also an NCAA provisional qualifying time. He was the 400 meter Hurdle champion at the South Atlantic Conference Championships last month. Foster currently holds the 24th-fastest 400 Hurdle time among NCAA Division II runners.
Myers earned All-Region honors in the 100 Meters and set a new school record in the event at the Duke Twilight Invitational with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 10.60 seconds. He also set a school record in the 200 Meters at the Catamount Classic, finishing in 21.58 seconds.
All-Region awards went to 664 different student-athletes, who combined for 916 total awards.
