Lions open 2018 at ETSU Invitational
The Mars Hill men's indoor track and field team opened their 2018 schedule Friday at Day 1 of the East Tennessee State University Invitational.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's indoor track and field team opened their 2018 schedule Friday at Day 1 of the East Tennessee State University Invitational.
Nicholas Izquierdo placed 44th in the 400 meter with a time of 52.80 in the preliminary round. Cameron France, Shane Ward and Malik Frost each ran in the 60 meter prelims, running times of 7.20, 7.34 and 7.45, respectively. The times were good for the 51st, 69th and 79th places out of 103 participants. The trio also ran in the 200 meter. France placed second in his prelim heat, 50th overall with a time of 23.17. Frost and Ward were 105th and 113th overall with times of 24.51 and 24.88, respectively.
In field activities, Kenan Foxx placed 33rd overall in the weight throw with a mark of 11.71m (38.5 ft.).
