Lions place 12th at Appalachian State
The Mars Hill men’s track and field team placed 12th out of 13 teams Saturday afternoon at the Holmes Convocation Center. The Lions picked up 12 points overall.
BOONE, N.C. – The Mars Hill men's track and field team placed 12th out of 13 teams Saturday afternoon at the Holmes Convocation Center. The Lions picked up 12 points overall.
Freshman Nicholas Izquierdo earned two points with a with a seventh place finish in the 300 meter dash, turning in a time of 38.19. Earning eight points in the 3000 meter run, Noah Allison placed second with a time of 9:05.63. He finished first out of all Division II competitors.
In the triple jump, Bryan Smith earned two points with a seventh place finish. He recorded a mark of 12.10m (39'8.50").
