Lions wrap up Day One of Buccaneer Invitational
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's indoor track and field team took part in Day One of the Buccaneer Invitational held in Johnson City, Tennessee Friday afternoon.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's indoor track and field team took part in Day One of the Buccaneer Invitational held in Johnson City, Tennessee Friday afternoon.
Cameron France took fourth place in his 60 meter dash preliminary heat with a time of 7.23. Malik Frost and Shane Ward each finished fifth in their respective heats. France and Frost also took part in the 200 meter dash, placing third and sixth in their respective heats with times of 22.88 and 24.36.
The team of Noah Allison, Nicholas Izquierdo, Jared Stanley and Garrett Farrimond placed sixth overall with a time of 10:47.60 in the distance medley.
Freshman Bryan Smith finished third in his flight for the long jump with a mark of 6.24m (20'5.75"). Corey Whaley placed eighth in his flight.

The Lions wrap up the Buccaneer Invitational on Saturday, February 3.
