Men’s Cross Country Wins 14th SAC Title
Owens wins 15th Coach of the Year honor
WINGATE, N.C. - Mars Hill placed three of the top four individual finishers and won the 2010 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Tournament Championship for a 14th consecutive season. Head Coach Mike Owens claimed the Coach of the Year title for a 15th time.
Justin Gragg, Trey McCain and Aaron Thomas finished second through fourth overall in the 8k meet. Gragg posted a time of 25:28. McCain finished the meet with a time of 25:36. Thomas rounded out the top three of the team in 25:58.
Eric Blackburn also received All-SAC laurels, thanks to his 14th place showing (26:31). Mars Hill outdistanced Lenoir-Rhyne by 19 points.
