Men’s Cross Country ranked fifth in Southeast
NEW ORLEANS, La. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released preseason regional rankings for the NCAA Division II 2011 season. The Mars Hill men's cross country team is ranked fifth in the Southeast Region.
The Lions have won 14 consecutive Food Lion South Atlantic Conference men's cross country championships and have competed in the National Championship meet for two consecutive seasons. Mars Hill opens the season in the Eye Opener race on Sept. 2.
