NEW ORLEANS, La. - For the first time in four seasons, the Mars Hill men's cross country team has cracked the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national rankings. Mars Hill is ranked 21st in the latest rankings released today.
Mars Hill claimed the Southeast Regional title on Saturday and qualified for the NCAA National Championship meet on December 6 in Louisville. The Lions won their 18th consecutive South Atlantic Conference title earlier this month. Mars Hill is the highest-ranked Southeast region team in the poll; Mount Olive is ranked 23rd.
