Griggs Named AstroTurf SAC Runner of the Week
Alex Griggs has been named the AstroTurf SAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second time this season
ROCK HILL, S.C.- Mars Hill senior Alex Griggs has been named the AstroTurf SAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday morning. Griggs wins the award for the second time this season and 10th in his career.
Griggs won the Bulldog Stampede on Saturday in a preview for the NCAA Men's Cross Country Southeast Regional. He finished with a winning 8k time of 25:42.70 as the Lions scored a third place finish at the meet.
Mars Hill returns to action next Friday at the Queens Invite.
