Jones Earns Another Runner of the Week Nod
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Senior Nathan Jones has been tabbed the Astro Turf South Atlantic Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the league office today.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Senior Nathan Jones has been tabbed the Astro Turf South Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the league office today. This is the third time that Jones has earned the plaudit during the season.
Jones recorded a time of 24:07.6 in the 8K race at the Queens' Twilight Meet. Jones' time on the course not only broke the record for Mars Hill University, but it was the fastest time recorded time in South Atlantic Conference history. Jones finished in third-place in a field of 365 runners.
Jones and the Mars Hill cross country team will now turn its attention to the South Atlantic Conference Championships on Saturday, October 22.
