Mars Hill ranked fifth in USTFCCCA Southeast Region poll
The first NCAA Division II Cross Country Regional Rankings were released on Tuesday (Sept. 18) by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
NEW ORLEANS – The first NCAA Division II Cross Country Regional Rankings were released on Tuesday (Sept. 18) by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Five South Atlantic Conference men's teams are represented in the first ranking. Queens leads the way in the No. 1 spot, followed by Anderson at No. 4, Mars Hill at No. 5 and Wingate at No. 6. Lincoln Memorial rounds out the ranking at No. 10.
The top three teams from each regional meet will automatically advance to the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 1. There are also ten at-large selections made by the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Committee that will also advance to NCAA National Championship.
