Mars Hill places sixth at Winthrop Cross Country Invitational
The Mars Hill men's cross country team placed sixth at the Winthrop Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Mars Hill men's cross country team placed sixth at the Winthrop Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning.
Noah Allison was the top placing finisher for the Lions, placing 18th overall with a time of 26:42.5. Bryan Barbee and Kyle Hadding turned in top 50 performances, finishing 47th and 49th, respectively, with times of 29:33.5 and 29:45.2.
Ben Brock finished 51st with a time of 29:52.3 while James Benik recorded a time of 30:50.5.
"I was pleased with today's race," assistant coach Alex Griggs said. "It was nice to see the team run as a pack and continue to get better with each race."
