Mars Hill turns in strong performance at Royals Cross Country Challenge
The Mars Hill men's cross country team placed 31st out of 57 teams Friday afternoon at the Royals Cross Country Challenge.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's cross country team placed 31st out of 57 teams Friday afternoon at the Royals Cross Country Challenge.
Noah Allison placed 50th overall out of the 501 racers that participated. Allison ran a time of 25:14.1. Skylar Cantrell turned in a personal best Friday afternoon, posting a time of 26:54.1. The time was 34 seconds faster than his previous standard.
Ben Brock also posted a personal best time, finishing the race in 28:47.1, shaving 42 seconds off of his previous mark.
Mars Hill totaled a time of 2:16:23.40 on the day, averaging a time of 27:16.68 per runner.

The Lions next run in the South Atlantic Conference Championships on Saturday, October 26th. The race will be held in Wingate, North Carolina, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
