Lions finish 17th at NCAA DII Southeast Region Championships
The Mars Hill men's cross country team finished 17th overall at the 2019 NCAA DII Southeast Region Championships, held in Wingate, North Carolina Saturday morning.
WINGATE, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's cross country team finished 17th overall at the 2019 NCAA DII Southeast Region Championships, held in Wingate, North Carolina Saturday morning.
Placing 31st overall, Noah Allison was the top finisher for Mars Hill, who turned in a time of 32:57.7. Jared Stanley placed 85th with a time of 35:13.0.
Finishing 103rd, James Benik recorded a time of 35:54.6 while Bryan Barbee placed 111th with a time of 36:19.7.
Rounding out the Lions' team was Blake Freeman and Hunter Snyder, who finished the race in 37:18.3 and 38:32.7, respectively.
Mars Hill ran a total time of 2:57:43.30 with an average time of 35:32.66 per runner.
