Former WBB Player Roberts Playing in Atlanta
MARS HILL, N.C. - Former Mars Hill College women's basketball player, Lindsay Roberts, is playing semi-professional basketball for the Atlanta Battlecats. Roberts graduated from MHC in 2008 playing four seasons for the Lions.
Roberts ended her career for the Lions with 748 points (6.6 avg.), 475 rebounds (4.2 avg.) and 160 blocked shots. She played in 113 games starting in 52.
The Atlanta Battlecats are a member of the Women's Blue Chip Basketball League. According to the WBCBL website, the league's mission is to provide highly competitive basketball for women age 20 and older. The competition level ranges from former College players to former NWBL and WNBA players and current International players.
