Glymph Named First Team All-SAC
Senior guard Camille Glymph was named to the All-South Atlantic Conference first team
ROCK HILL, S.C.- Senior guard Camille Glymph was named to the All-South Atlantic Conference first team, conference officials announced today.
Glymph led the league with an average of 23.9 points per game, which is tied for second-highest among NCAA Division II players. She played a league-high 951 minutes and also led the SAC in field goals (226-536), 3-pointers (97-252) and free throw percentage (88.2 percent). Her 646 points scored led the league and is the sixth-highest single-season output in conference history.
In her lone season at Mars Hill, Glymph etched her name into the record books as she set a new school record and tied the all-time South Atlantic Conference record for points in a game with 45, which came in an 88-42 victory over Brevard on February 26.
Anderson guard Sierra Simpson was voted the 2014-15 South Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year, while Catawba's Terri Rogers was voted the Conference's Freshman of the Year. In addition, Anderson mentor Kevin Garrity was tabbed the Coach of the Year.
