Women's Golf Finishes in Ninth at SAC Championship
The Mars Hill women’s golf team finished in ninth place at the 2015 South Atlantic Conference women’s golf championship
SEVIERVILLE, TENN. - The Mars Hill women's golf team finished in ninth place at the 2015 South Atlantic Conference women's golf championship held at the par-72, 6,006-yard Sevierville Golf Club River Course.
Emma Lundvall led the Lions with a seven-over-par 79 in the final round and a 54-hole score of 242 to finish in a tie for 18th place. Sarah Johnson finished with a final round 85 and a 253 while tying for 35th. Victoria Barrett finished also shot a 85 in the final round and finished in 39th place with a 261. Raven Brown finished with a 94 and a total score of 293 followed by Lindsey Ball with a 94 today and a 54-hole score of 305.
Lincoln Memorial's Lindsay Davis was the individual winner with a 229, topping Carson-Newman's Danielle Baiunco by one stroke. Carson-Newman won the team title with a 936, followed by Newberry (943) and Wingate (944).
