Lions Finish in Eighth at SAC Preview
Mars Hill scored an eighth place finish at the SAC Preview over the weekend
MONROE, N.C.- The Mars Hill women's golf team finished in eighth place at the SAC Preview held at the Monroe Country Club.
Emma Lundvall finished in a tie for 32nd after she shot an 82 to finish with 36-hole score of 168. Sarah Johnson shot a 95 and finished tied for 41st with a 173. Victoria Barrett shot a final round 93 for a combined score of 180 and a tie for 46th. Marie Syvertsen and Raven Brown each finished with a 191 as Syvertsen shot a 94 in the final round while Brown finished with a 93.
Wingate's Caitlin Starrs was the individual winner with a 151. The Bulldogs won the tournament by eight strokes over UNC Pembroke.
Mars Hill returns to action on October26-27 at the Converse Fall Invite.
