Lundvall Wins Converse Fall Invite
Emma Lundvall won the Converse Fall Invite after rain washed out the final round on Tuesday. Victoria Barrett also earned a spot on the All-Tournament team
SPARTANBURG, S.C.- Sophomore Emma Lundvall was named the winner of the Converse Fall Invite after rain forced the cancellation of Tuesday's second round. Mars Hill finished in third place as a team.
Lundvall earned her second medalist honor of the fall after she shot a 79 on Monday at the Carolina Country Club. Victoria Barrett earned a spot on the All-Tournament team as she finished in third place with an 83. Sarah Johnson finished in a tie for 14th following a 90. Raven Brown finished the tournament tied for 22nd with a 98 followed by Marie Syvertsen in 24th with a 99.
Converse was the team winner after finishing with a 335 on Monday. Converse B team finished in second place with a 346 followed by Mars Hill with a 350.
The Converse Fall Invite concludes the fall portion of the women's golf season. The Lions return to action on March 7 at the Pfeiffer Invitational.
