Lions finish third at Bob Dibble Classic
The Mars Hill Lions took third place at the Bob Dibble Classic in Greeneville, Tennessee Tuesday afternoon. Janie Gooch finished fourth overall.
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - The Mars Hill Lions took third place at the Bob Dibble Classic in Greeneville, Tennessee Tuesday afternoon. Janie Gooch finished fourth overall.
Gooch shot a second round 76 which was two strokes better than her first round performance. She finished eight shots off of the lead behind the victor, Tusculum's Katie Tomassoni. Tomassoni's teammate, Ciara Rattana.
Emilee Wenmouth finished seventh overall with a second round 68, three shots better than her first eighteen on Monday. Marie Syvertsen was tied for 16th alongside Milligan's Ashley Cauthen.
The Lions had a vast improvement in their second round play, finishing with a collective score of 322, 27 strokes better than their first round performance.
