Lions place fifth at Converse Fall Invitational
The Mars Hill women's golf team finished the Converse College Fall Invitational in fifth place at the conclusion of Tuesday's second round.
ROEBUCK, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's golf team finished the Converse College Fall Invitational in fifth place at the conclusion of Tuesday's second round.
Emilee Wenmoth was the top finishing Mars Hill golfer with a 19th place finish. She shot +15 on the day.
Janie Gooch placed 21st while Marie Syvertsen finished tied for 23rd overall. Jordan Martindale had a seven stroke improvement from round one, shooting 90 on the day. She placed 28th overall.
Ashley Holland ended the tournament with a 33rd place finish.

The Lions conclude fall play at the Jekyll-O-Lantern Intercollegiate beginning on Monday, October 29th in Jekyll Island, Georgia.
