Mars Hill places fifth at MHU Fall Invitational
The Mars Hill women's golf team opened their season with a fifth place finish at the Mars Hill University Fall Invitational Tuesday afternoon.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The Mars Hill women's golf team opened their season with a fifth place finish at the Mars Hill University Fall Invitational Tuesday afternoon.
Emilee Wenmoth finished tied for 12th as she shot a second-round 81, three strokes better than her first round performance Monday. Ashley Holland placed 23rd while Jasmine Chesnut recorded a 24th place finish.
Jordan Martindale and Leann Crotts rounded out the Lions squad with 26th and 30th place finishes, respectively.
The Tusculum Pioneers emerged victorious, shooting a combined 629 over the two days, four strokes better than second place Milligan.
