Women’s Soccer ranked high in NCAA in defense
MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill is ranked 13th in the country in save percentage, according to the latest NCAA National Rankings Summary. The Lions (5-3-1, 1-1) are ranked 25th in the country in goals-against average.
The Lions save percentage is .9. Mars Hill allows only .606 goals per game. Rollins leads the country with a 1.0 save percentage and zero goals allowed.
Catherine Watkins-Banks ranks fourth nationally with three game-winning goals. The Lions host Newberry on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
