Tate Earns All-SAC Honorable Mention Accolades
Freshman midfielder Breona Tate has been named to the All-SAC Honorable Mention team.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Freshman midfielder Breona Tate has been named to the All-SAC Honorable Mention team, South Atlantic Conference officials announced today,
Tate started all 16 games and tied for the team lead with two goals. She led the Lions with 28 shots and 20 shots on goal. Tate tallied her first collegiate goal against Emmanuel on September 16 and scored the Lions' lone goal against Lincoln Memorial on September 24 with a match-high six shots.
Wingate's Jade Montgomery was chosen as the Player of the Year for the third consecutive season. Anderson's Lyssa Engle earned Freshman of the Year honors, with Deedee Sanguinetti claiming Coach of the Year recognition.
